A Palestinian bull dozer operator used his tractor as a weapon today, attacking pedestrians and vehicles in downtown Jerusalem, killing three people and injuring thirty, before being shot dead by a member of the IDF and an Israeli police officer. It's a scene that sounds like it could have come from a horror movie, but it happened on the crowded streets of downtown Jerusalem around noon Wednesday. A Palestinian resident of East Jerusalem was operating his bulldozer at a construction site, and suddenly turned his tractor into a weapon, attacking nearby pedestrians and vehicles, killing three women and injuring some thirty other people, overturning two transit buses in the process.
The driver, who reportedly had a criminal record and was the holder of an Israeli (blue) identification card, was shot dead by a SWAT officer near the old Shaare Zedek Medical Center. The terrorist was identified as 31-year-old Hossam Dawiath, a father of two from the village of Tzur Baher.
The terrorist continued on his killing spree, but a short while later a soldier and a SWAT officer jumped on top of the vehicle. The officer then shot the terrorist in the chest and leg and killed him.
The attack came with no warning; there was no indication that the man was going to go on the rampage today that took three lives. The dozer was from a nearby construction site for the Jerusalem Tram system.
I know that there are those who feel that Israel has badly mistreated the "Palestinians" in the period since the reformation of the nation of Israel. I know that there are those who believe that the nation of Israel has no right to exist in it's present incarnation simply due to the fact that Israel had not existed as a nation for nearly 2,000 years. Their claim is that Palestine has every right to oppose Israeli occupation of the region because they had secured the area and made it their own. But yet and still, there was never an established nation called Palestine. Since the diaspora of 136 AD, the region had gone without having an established governmental structure until the mass return of the Jews from around the world in the last century.
The Palestinian "problem" exists as much at the fault of the Arab nations as it does anyone else for not allowing their fellow Arabic people to do anything but live in refugee villages between nations, a position Palestinians found themselves in for the early on terrorist activities against the newly formed Israeli regime.
But Palestinian apologists won't hear any part of this, because they don't think the Israeli's should be back in their traditional homeland to begin with.
Let me take a moment to point out the hypocrisy in this mindset; I have heard the same people who will not allow for a the notion of a return for the Nation of Israel to their homeland turn around in the same conversation and demand that white Americans make apologies to blacks for slavery.
In any event, an attack upon an unarmed civilian populace is an act of cowardice, in my estimation. I sincerely hope that this isn't the beginning of a new trend of terrorist tactics to be employed by terrorist organizations.
I'm more and more impressed with Barack Hussein Obama every day. The more he opens his mouth, the more he shows us his true nature and bearing.
Let's start with his two latest bouts of sheer genius, cunning, and displays of showing his brilliance.
This remarkable bit of footage from Barack Obama’s appearance in Oregon last night is now floating around on YouTube. It might be useful as an undergraduate course exam: how many errors can you spot? Obama apparently believes that Iran and other rogues states (he lists Iran, Cuba and Venezuela) “don’t pose a serious threat to the U.S.” Iran, specifically, he tells us spends so little on defense relative to us that if Iran “tried to pose a serious threat to us they wouldn’t . . . they wouldn’t stand a chance.”
So, taken literally, he seems not much concerned about Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons, its sponsorship of terrorist organizations, its commitment to eradicate Israel, its current actions in supplying weapons that have killed hundreds of Americans in Iraq, and its role in eroding Lebanon’s sovereignty through its client Hezbollah.
SUCH a SPECTACULAR grasp he has on international politics. Such RESOLVE he has in putting forth our military against any other military in the world. Um, isn't this mister "I was against the war from the beginning" in regards to Iraq? Isn't this the SAME brilliant meister who was constantly confusing Iran and Iraq not more than a couple of years ago?
I wonder if he can even find Iran or Iraq on the map? Right in there where Saudi Arabia is, Senator. You know, Saudi Arabia, where Mecca is...Right, Mecca, holy city of Islam. YES, I knew you'd figure it out. Gold star for you, there, Senator. I'd like to know where he's getting his information on how much Iran is spending on defense, perhaps FROM the Iranians? That makes sense, right? Hitler wasn't spending that much on defense, either, during the rise of the Reich after his ascension to the Prime Ministry prior to World War II, but some how the Wehrmacht managed to be built, didn't it? Perhaps Senator Barack Hussein Obama is overlooking two other elements of Iran's spending: it's nuclear program and the backing of international terrorism.
From Wake Up America: "That picture is from the Beirut Airport. It's smoke rising from the Marine barracks. 241 American servicemen were killed. Sixty Americans were injured. 58 French paratroopers were killed with 15 injured.
The attack was carried out by Hezbollah, with Iranian backing.
And Iran survives."
Can you feel the love? I say can you FEEL the love that the Iranians have for us here in the U. S. of A? Can I GET an amen? I say CAN I GETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT an AMEN, hallelujah...
Iran remained the most active state sponsor of terrorism. Its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) were directly involved in the planning and support of terrorist acts and continued to exhort a variety of groups, especially Palestinian groups with leadership cadres in Syria and Lebanese Hizballah, to use terrorism in pursuit of their goals.
Iran maintained a high-profile role in encouraging anti-Israeli terrorist activity, rhetorically, operationally, and financially. Supreme Leader Khamenei and President Ahmadi-Nejad praised Palestinian terrorist operations, and Iran provided Lebanese Hizballah and Palestinian terrorist groups - notably HAMAS, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command - with extensive funding, training, and weapons.
Iran continued to play a destabilizing role in Iraq, which appeared to be inconsistent with its stated objectives regarding stability in Iraq. Iran provided guidance and training to select Iraqi Shia political groups, and weapons and training to Shia militant groups to enable anti-Coalition attacks. Iranian government forces have been responsible for at least some of the increasing lethality of anti-Coalition attacks by providing Shia militants with the capability to build IEDs with explosively formed projectiles similar to those developed by Iran and Lebanese Hizballah. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard was linked to armor-piercing explosives that resulted in the deaths of Coalition Forces. The Revolutionary Guard, along with Lebanese Hizballah, implemented training programs for Iraqi militants in the construction and use of sophisticated IED technology. These individuals then passed on this training to additional militants in Iraq.
Iran remained unwilling to bring to justice senior AQ members it detained in 2003, and it has refused to publicly identify these senior members in its custody. Iran has repeatedly resisted numerous calls to transfer custody of its AQ detainees to their countries of origin or third countries for interrogation or trial. Iran also continued to fail to control the activities of some al-Qaida members who fled to Iran following the fall of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan.
Thus sayeth the U.S. Department of State.
"Just words", Senator?
We move on, and continue, with our examples of how impressive the Senator from Illinois truly is...
By now we've all heard Michell Obama's infamous "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm proud of my country" spiel. For those of us who didn't go to Princeton and get a law degree from an ivy league university, those of us who cling to our guns because we've always been proud of our country and adhere to it's traditions and values despite being bitter about it, it was certainly enough to bring a tear to my eye when I first heard it. Or perhaps it could have been the onion I was slicing to go on my cheeseburger...
You're running for the Presidency of the United States of America, SENATOR. This is a much bigger, much tougher job than doing the job that you've been shirking for the past few years in your laughable term as senator from Illinois, having been so busy looking for the next promotion for yourself. You and your family, your friends, your associations, have become a commodity in the open exchange of ideas. HOW DARE you presume to tell the Tennessee state GOP to "lay off" of anything concerning your life, your character, and your ability to lead, and where you AND YOUR FAMILY stand politically and ideologically.
You have shown an amazing display of thinness of skin, lack of character, lack of ability to handle criticism, and lack of intelligence in THINGS THAT MATTER as more media and public scrutiny have been placed upon you since your rock star ascent to the top tier of the nominating process for the Democratic party.
You have yet to display any true characteristics of leadership that are necessary for the office of the President.
You are, Senator Obama, underwhelming, to say the least.
Once and Always, (a very disgusted) American Fighting Man
Given the rich opportunity afforded to Hillary Clinton surrounding Barack Obama's documented ties to terrorist organizations, why is she not using them in her campaign? Could there be something she doesn't want us to know about her own history?
A few days ago I posted a piece outlining Barack Obama's ties to known terrorists. George Stephanopoulos addressed it in the Philadelphia debates, and the left went ballistic in the blogs and in commentaries afterward.
The question has arisen, however, in light of the Philly debates, of why Senator Clinton didn't go for Senator Obama's political jugular over the issue? There may be a very good reason for that, as a little digging and research uncovers that the Clinton's have their own connections to terrorist groups and individuals who have been known to commit acts of terrorism or governments supporting them.
In 1998, during the administration of her husband Bill, the FAA granted permission to "commercial" flights from Cuba to cross U.S. airspace en route to Canada using one East coast flight route, and one west coast. This permission was granted despite the known ties of the Cuban government to terrorist sponsoring states in the Middle East, and in despite the knowledge of the Clinton administration of Cuba's biotechnical manufacturing plants [biological warfare]. Fidel Castro, then dictator of Cuba, was also on the record with his hatred of the United States.
In a 2001 Judicial Watch report warned that the United States government was ignoring the threat of Cuba to the nation. Representative Robert Menendez of New Jersey presented the following findings at a Congressional hearing:
# Three suspected Afghans were arrested in the Cayman Islands with fake passports after transit to Cuba.
# Cuban spy Ana Belen, only recently arrested after working at the Pentagon for years, provided classified information to Cuba.
# Cuban spies recently convicted in Florida provided Castro with detailed information about the U.S. mail system. (This could cause raised eyebrows, given the recent anthrax problems at postal facilities and mailrooms in and out of government.)
# Castro recently visited Iran, following interchanges that have for years existed between scientists in Cuba and Iran and the documented cases of terrorists who have sought and achieved safe harbor on the island just 90 miles from U.S. shores.
Then Secretary of State Colin Powell stated that he was "not familiar" with most of the findings, a situation that Judicial Watch called "scary," as he had earlier announced his desire to soften the Cuban embargo.
It should be noted that Powell was Secretary of State during the first term of the Bush administration, a position currently held by Condoleeza Rice.
Then President Clinton also issued pardons to several individuals who had been involved in terrorist activities. In 2001 a pardon was issued to former Weather Underground member Susan L. Rosenberg, who had been convicted and was serving sentence after being arrested in 1984 "while unloading 740 pounds of dynamite, a submachine gun and other weapons from the back of a car." Rosenberg was being sought at the time of her arrest for suspicion of involvement in a 1981 Brinks armored car heist that left two police officers and one guard dead, a role she has denied playing any part in.
In 1999, 16 Puerto Rican nationals were pardoned by Clinton, who were responsible for the bombings of more than 100 U.S. political and military installations, upon their promise to renounce violence. These attacks had left six people dead and dozens wounded. Clinton justified the pardons by saying that none of the men had been convicted of crimes that resulted in death or injuries.
Hillary Clinton's involvement with terrorists and terrorist organizations isn't limited to her involvement with her husband Bill, however, as reported by LankaNewspapers.com, a Sri Lankan news outlet.
According to a fundraising web site for the Senator, Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) activists are involved in raising funds from 100 Dollars to 2300 Dollars to help elect Senator Clinton as the next United States President.
New Jersey residents have expressed the fear, that LTTE or the Tamil Tigers could flush supporters with millions of dollars, to buy influence over the next possible President of the United States of America by infiltrating into democratic fund raising machine.
An email distributed by a female activist, Pat Pathmakumar for the group under the name `Tamils for Clinton` has appealed to contribute for the Clinton fund by sending checks to her or a man named Ram Ranjan, a man who organized the LTTE Heroes day meeting in New Jersey last year. Ranjan has publicly admitted he raised funds for LTTE front, the Tamil Rehabilitation Organization (TRO).
To be sure, Hillary Clinton has attacked Obama on a great many points and issues. Her campaign has been accused of "mud-slinging" and the use of smear tactics, but then this is what we expect from team Clinton, the use of the politics to their advantage in every way they deem necessary. Perhaps a historical look back at the Lincoln-Stevens debates is necessary, from time to time, as well as a look back at Andrew Jackson, a noted duelist of his day, in his own bids for public office, in order to give us, today, a full appreciation of the Clinton's sense of history in their conduct during political campaigns.
But this issue, this key issue that is being covered by some media sources concerning Obama, is for some reason taking it's time in coming to the forefront concerning Clinton. Even FOXNews has not to date given this the coverage that has been given to the Obama terrorist ties.
Perhaps the Obama connections having light shed on them have opened the door for the Clinton connections, as well. Only time will tell for that. In the meantime, the fact does remain that both Democrat candidates have their share of ties to terrorism.
I have had enough. The line has been crossed. If I ever witness such as this, I will NOT REST until I see legal action taken against the "parents" involved. I would encourage the rest of you who still love our country to do the same.
On my way home tonight I was drawn into an incident that has me so angry that I could not even write about it until I calmed down a bit.
In a residential neighborhood I stopped at an intersection and witnessed several children who appeared to be fighting a few yards from my vehicle. At first it did not seem real serious, however, one of the children said something that caused me to pay more attention. He said “You’re a terrorist just like your dad, I’m going to kill you just like the Iraq is gonna kill him.” It was then that I realized what was going on. A young boy, probably 10 or 11 was dressed as a US soldier, he was pinned on the ground while a group of four or five other boys where hitting and kicking him while at least two older people in costumes watched.
I left my truck in the street and got out just as one boy picked up a softball sized rock and headed towards he boy pinned on the ground. He was yelling “MURDERER” over and over. I yelled at the boy with the rock who dropped it and ran as he saw me. The others did not stop attacking the boy on the ground until I pulled them off of him. It was at this point the two older people started screaming at me. “What are you doing to my boys, leave them alone!” They were the mothers of two of the attackers. I told them I was calling the police and they all ran off.
The boy who had been attacked was crying and told me his father was serving in Iraq so he had decided to dress “like a soldier” for Halloween. He told me the attackers were his friends and that after one of the mothers start calling him and his dad a murderer his friends joined in and then attacked him.
Although he was bleeding he did not appear to be seriously injured and was very adamant that he did not want police or medical help. When I went to move my truck and call the police the boy disappeared into the neighborhood.
I’m still not sure whether I’m more disturbed by the children’s actions or the two mothers standing there watching. Were they going to let the boy be hit with a rock larger than a softball? Why did they allow the fight in the first place?
What kind of environment is required for ten year old boys to attack & threaten death over a soldier costume? I can only imagine the things they here at home and I can only imagine ho much worse these kids while be in the teens and as adults.
Had the assailants been a little older I’m afraid I would have been in jail before it was over. Given the fact they were literally children, I did nothing more then pull them away from the victim.
I really don’t give a damn what one’s position on the Iraq war or any war for that matter, but to allow this situation to happen is flat out wrong.
Happy F’N Halloween!
My first question is how can two "mothers" stand idly by and allow a gang of kids to beat the hell out of another one? What kind of MOTHER would do that? And over a kid paying tribute to his soldier father by dressing up AS a soldier for Halloween?
When two grown women who have born children stand idly to the side and allow their offspring to gather a group of other kids to beat and kick another child, these women are NOT mothers; they are progenitors of terrorism. THIS is an act of home grown domestic terrorism.
Think that poor kid being wailed on wasn't terrorized? Ask five or six of your closest friends to start beating the hell out of you and telling you they're going to kill you. Make sure that two of their mothers are standing nearby watching and doing nothing.
There are not enough words to express the anger I feel, not ONLY as a veteran, but as a citizen. This is unacceptable. The hatred of the left for our troops has now taken the form of violence against someone who ISN'T EVEN OLD ENOUGH TO BE ONE. It's an attack on the family of one of our soldiers, a man who, I am sure, is asking himself right now "this is what I enlisted to protect? A country that hates me so much that my family isn't even safe?"
I don't know who this family is, I don't know who the soldier is, but brother, I'm proud of you for wearing the uniform and it speaks volumes to me that your son respects you enough that he would show you the honor of wanting to be like his old man. Well done, and God bless you.
To the two "mothers" who stood aside and allowed their children to attack another child? There will be a reckoning. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but there will be a reckoning. I don't know what it will be, and I'm not making any threats; it would be futile to do so as I have no idea who you are, nor do I want to know. What goes around comes around. There will be an accounting for your own act of evil.
To our veterans, this is a wake up call if I've ever seen one. Be vigilant, be alert, and be strong. Our enemy at home has played their next card. This incident will go unpunished by the law, but there will be others. This is just the first, I'm sure. Be ready to make the law accountable for acts of violence against our troops and their families.
To the left, enough. Our troops are there to protect you, show them a little respect. Without our troops, you certainly wouldn't have the freedom to protest. Or would you rather a police state that censors every word, every thought, every freedom? That's the kind of world you're actually advocating when you stand against our nation and our military defending us from those in the world who would see our nation fall.
Enough.
I could go on, I could say so much more...SO much more...but I'm trying to keep this at a level where any age can read it, so I'll keep the poison that this has raised inside me for another outlet...something productive, I can assure you, but I won't go into the cursing rampage that I could go into over this tonight here.
THAT, my liberal leftist hater friends, is called taking the high road.
And no, as much as I would probably like to, I won't go out looking for some moonbat to wail on.
It seems we've touched a nerve, those of us spreading the word about this story. Is anyone surprised at this? Shouldn't be. It just goes to show, in my mind, how serious the situation is.
Know this.
Some of us may fall, some of us may be taken out. Others are still out there to spread the word, to spread the truth. The truth will not lay silent. The truth will not lay dormant. The truth will be known.
Hat tip to Heading right:
US Blogger Death Threat Over Islamberg Remember this story about Islamberg, the Islamist paramilitary compound in New York I posted here? Well you know you’ve hit a nerve with Islam when they start issuing fatwas (death threats) against bloggers. The truth about Islam. WTF are they training for in Islamberg? I did forward the blogger the appropriate FBI contacts. STAY ON THIS.
“Were any of you threatened in any way, specifically for carrying the Islamberg story?” asked a blogger, who copied Canada Free Press (CFP) last night.
Robert is Robert Spencer, the director of Jihad Watch, a project of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, and author of two New York Times bestsellers on Islamic Jihad.
Brigette is Brigette Gabriel, a Lebanese Christian and Middle East correspondent, who is Director of American Congress.
Paul Williams, prolific writer and author of the newly released Day of Islam, wrote a CFP cover story published May 11, detailing a radical Muslim paramilitary compound that flourishes in upper New York State.
I'll let you draw your own conclusions from that. Personally, I'm not going unarmed anymore, in one form or another...
As many as five or six U.S. air marshals are now assigned to each U.S.-bound flight from airports in Frankfurt, London and Manchester, England, because of fears terrorists might attempt a coordinated series of mid-air explosions, law enforcement officials tell the Blotter on ABCNews.com.
"We're afraid someone in the back is going to mix something or light something up, so air marshals are being placed strategically through the plane," said one senior law enforcement official with direct knowledge of the stepped-up security.
The stepped-up security on flights out of Britain's Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester airports began about two weeks ago, based on intelligence reports that another al Qaeda hijacking plot was in the making, the officials said.
ABC News reported last Friday that U.S. and German officials fear a new terror attack is in the advanced planning stages.
Security on all flights out of Germany was increased about two months ago, based on similar intelligence, the officials said.
U.S. officials said the federal air marshals re-organized coverage of domestic flights and canceled some training classes to have enough marshals for the expanded coverage out of Germany and Britain.
A spokesperson for the air marshal program confirmed coverage in Europe had been increased "but not at the expense of protecting U.S. domestic flights."
U.S. officials said Germany law enforcement is providing full coverage of flights by Lufthansa and other German-based carriers flying into the United States. "They are stretched so thin they've had to rely on German military officers to help out," one U.S. official said.
"The intelligence was that there are plans to take a plane and crash it in a high-density, high-profile place," one official told ABCNews.com. The official said the timing and identity of the "high-profile place" was not contained in the intelligence reports.
U.S. officials said that an al Qaeda-connected cell in southwest Germany had been under 24-hour surveillance since the beginning of the year after some of its members were detected conducting surveillance on the headquarters of the U.S. European Command at Patch Barracks, near Stuttgart.
The cell, officials said, is made up of members of the Islamic Jihad Group, a violent terrorist organization based in Uzbekistan.
Two members of the cell were spotted outside Patch Barracks late on New Year's Eve, officials said. When questioned, officials said they said "they wanted to see what U.S. soldiers do on New Year's Eve."
Further surveillance and intelligence reports led to stepped-up security at U.S. military and diplomatic facilities last month in Germany.
The U.S. Embassy in Berlin posted a warning that U.S. citizens should be vigilant because of a "heightened terror threat."
The official threat level in Britain is assessed as "severe," the highest level that signifies an attack is highly likely. It has been at the "severe' level since an earlier hijacking plot was revealed last Aug. 14, 2006.
Boggles the mind of how our politicians can be so blind, doesn't it?
I'll let this one speak for itself. I for one agree completely...
Written by a housewife from New Jersey and sounds like it! This Is one ticked off lady.
"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it Not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?
Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not Brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac From our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ? Did nearly Three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or Crushing death that day, or didn't they?
And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it Wet?...Well, I don't. I don't care at all.
I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and Repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.
I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East Start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a Crime in Saudi Arabia .
I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for Hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling Slashed throat.
I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come Out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by Hiding in mosques.
I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in Search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.
I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law Instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.
In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine Roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.
When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who Have been Humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care.
When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is Told not to Move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the Bank: I don't care.
When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer Mat, and Fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is Complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care.
And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and Other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and -you guessed it -I don't care ! ! ! ! !
If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for This ridiculous behavior!
If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more Atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I add:
"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a Difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem." -- Ronald Reagan
I have another quote that I would like to add AND.......I hope You forward all this.
"If we ever forget that we're One Nation Under God, then we will Be a nation gone under."

One last thought for the day:
In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the Anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how Many want in... And how many want out."
Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ 2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON, AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET BOTH OF THEM. AMEN!
I have no problem with Mexico or Mexicans. I love Mexican food and the Mexican culture. The Mexican people have a rich history, as full and interesting as our own.
I have no problem with Mexican's coming to the United States LEGALLY. I have no problem with ANY people coming here LEGALLY.
I have a severe problem with people coming into this country illegally and then trying to make OUR country into THEIR country. To quote one of the local talk radio hosts I listen to, "What part of ILLEGAL do you not understand?"
Our nation is at war with an enemy who uses subversive and sneaky tactics against us. There is a reason that they're called terrorists, it's not just some label that's been put on them for convenience. If we don't secure our Southern border we can COUNT on them coming in, as they already are, as they already have been, to disrupt things on our own shores. That also doesn't take into account the massive number of illegals who are here because they have stayed beyond the expiration of their visa's. This was the case with some of the hijackers on 9/11.
The American people are tired of illegals protesting in our streets demanding amnesty. "What part of ILLEGAL don't you understand?" Yesterday's May Day protests should have resulted in massive numbers of INS, border patrol, and other federal agents mobilizing to round up illegals while they were gathered in central locations and SHIPPING THEM ACROSS THE BORDER.
It didn't happen.
President Bush, we do NOT want the SPP, we do NOT want the the Trans-Texas highway, the Canada to Mexico corridor, Spanish control of toll roads cutting across our nation, or an unsecured southern border. You have our support in the war on terror, but this nonsense of an unsecured border, ESPECIALLY in a time of war, has to stop NOW.
What follows is an email I received a bit ago expressing the outrage and anger of MANY American citizens on this subject. Mind you, I'm not advocating violence, but in my mind, it speaks volumes:
Very important !! Read this and follow though !!!
May 5th will be here very soon. It is your PATRIOTIC duty to fly our Stars and Stripes If you do not have one. SHAME on you. GO BUY ONE. MADE IN THE USA !!
Remember that "CINCO DE MAYO" is a very important day for MEXICANS !!! Let's all make a major effort to make May 5th memorable. It is a day for inviting all your MEXICAN coworkers (or those who have taken your jobs), service people ( ie: fast food, hotel, landscape, car wash, meat plant and chicken farm workers ) to pack up and go HOME --- SOUTH OF THE BOARDER !!
May 5th is a day for flag burning.
GIGI !!! If the Mex flag you want to burn is on the back of a tee shirt, PLEASE REMEMBER TO RIP IT OFF THE S O B BEFORE YOU POUR THE CHARCOAL LIGHTER FLUID ON IT THIS YEAR !! I can not come out there and bail you out.
If you are not able or willing to do either of the above then it is your PATRIOTIC DUTY to pick up you phone and call every one of you Representatives, Senators, Presidential Candidate's, newspapers editors, and radio people you know of. Make sure they know WE want ILLEGALS/ CRIMINALS to be a major campaign issue. They are protesting to get "CITIZENSHIP" They already have it back in their home country send them back there. MAKE MORE NOSE THEN THE MEX. Let them know we are taking our country back.

If you've ever followed Fred Thompson at all through the years, you know he's not a man with any qualms about speaking his mind, and calling things as he sees them.
The past three weeks, the world watched anxiously as events unfolded in the Iranian capture of fifteen British sailors and marines. Mr. Thompson has some very, very apt words to say at RedState about that situation, which while seemingly resolved now, leaves the world with the question of, regarding Iran, "what will they do now?"
The Pirates of Tehran
Oil prices fell. The stock market rose. Video images of smiling British soldiers with Iranian President Ahmadinejad were everywhere. So were pictures of the 15 freed hostages embracing family members back home. The relief over the return of the Brits was so tremendous; you could almost hear birds singing.
Maybe it's because military action won't be needed or maybe it's just because the ordeal won't drag on and on, but the world is breathing easier now. A lot of folks are happy. The problem, as I see it, is that Ahmadinejad seems to be the happiest.
And why shouldn't he be? He has shown the world that his forces can kidnap British citizens, subject them to brutal psychological tactics to coerce phony confessions, finagle the release of a high-ranking Iranian terror coordinator in Iraq, utterly trash the Geneva conventions and suffer absolutely no consequences.
The UN Security Council summoned its vaunted multilateral greatness to issue a swift statement of sincere uneasiness. The EU, which has pressured Britain to rely on Europeans for mutual defense instead of the US, wouldn't even discuss economic sanctions that might disrupt their holidays. Even NATO was AWOL.
Please do keep reading . . .
Tony Blair doesn't appear to be in much of a mood for celebrating. I don't know how he could be, given the troubling spectacle of British soldiers shake the hand of their kidnapper as a condition of release. In the old days, they would have kissed his ring -- but wearing Iranian suits and carrying swag more appropriate to a Hollywood awards ceremony may have been as embarrassing. Ironically, Blair's options are fewer by the day as his own party moves to mothball the British fleet, once the fear of pirates and tyrants the world over.
Some in the West seem part of Iran's propaganda war; claiming that the release of the hostages was a victory that proves the Iranian dictatorship can be reasoned with. To misrepresent unpunished piracy as a victory is as Orwellian as the congressional mandate banning use of the term "the global war on terror." What are we — Reuters?
Ahmadinejad must be particularly pleased to see "deep thinking" journalists making the case that American actions in Iraq were the true cause of the kidnappings. To believe this, all you have to do is ignore the history of the Iranian Revolution, which has been in the extortion business ever since it took power. Between the 1979 American embassy crisis in Tehran and the seizure of Israeli soldiers last year by Iran's Hezbollah proxies, there have been more than a hundred other examples.
If you include the imprisonment of pro-Democracy dissidents and non-Shi'a Muslim minorities within Iran, the number reaches easily into the tens of thousands. The dwindling and persecuted Christian population of Iran, I suspect, found little joy in Ahmadinejad's explanation that he was freeing his victims as an "Easter gift."
It is critical that we see this incident as part of a long pattern of behavior -- that will continue as long as the current leadership is in power. More importantly, it will escalate unimaginably if Iran achieves nuclear status, and with it the ability to hold millions rather than individuals hostage.
I have no idea if Ahmadinejad and those who put him in power really believe the Shi'a Twelver doctrine that they can spur the messiah to return by triggering Armageddon. You have to admit, though, that the possibility that they look forward to entering paradise as martyrs would make them a whole lot scarier as a nuclear power than the USSR ever was.
There is hope, though. The Iranian people are not an anti-Western horde. They're an educated and freedom-loving people for the most part, and reformers there have been begging us for support and sanctions that would weaken the ruling theocracy. Instead, they've just seen the Iranian dictatorship successfully bully the West into impotent submission. This is not a good thing.
We need to understand this and use every means at our disposal, starting with serious and painful international sanctions, to prevent Iran's rulers from becoming the nuclear-armed blackmailers they want to be. Unfortunately, we are hearing demands that we abandon the people of the Middle East who have stood up to Islamo-fascism because they believed us when we said we would support them.
If we retreat precipitously, the price for that betrayal will be paid first in blood and freedom by the Iranian people, the Kurds, the Afghanis, the secular Lebanese, the moderates in Pakistan and the Iraqis themselves. And America's word may never be trusted again.
Right now, the pirate Ahmadinejad is clearly more confident about the outcome of the Global War on Terror than we are. That ought to give us pause.
Damned right it should. The Iranians have already announced that they have every intention of doing it again when they have the chance.
Hardliners in the Iranian regime have warned that the seizure of British naval personnel demonstrates that they can make trouble for the West whenever they want to and do so with impunity.
The bullish reaction from Teheran will reinforce the fears of western diplomats and military officials that more kidnap attempts may be planned.
The British handling of the crisis has been regarded with some concern in Washington, and a Pentagon defence official told The Sunday Telegraph: "The fear now is that this could be the first of many. If the Brits don't change their rules of engagement, the Iranians could take more hostages almost at will.
"Iran has come out of this looking reasonable. If I were the Iranians, I would keep playing the same game. They have very successfully muddied the waters and bought themselves some more time. And in parts of the Middle East they will be seen as the good guys. They could do it time and again if they wanted to."
Americans also expressed dismay that the British had suspended boarding operations in the Gulf while its tactics are reassessed.
Yeah, the Iranians really learned a hard lesson from all of this, didn't they?
WAKE UP, AMERICA! And WAKE UP, GREAT BRITAIN as well. NATO, take a stand, dammit, that's what you were created for.
I know it's easy to armchair quarterback things, but when people who STUDY politics and political strategies are saying this, and when the Iranians themselves are saying that they're going to continue, I think that's a pretty damned clear indication that THE IRANIANS ARE GOING TO CONTINUE unless they're stopped. We have to stop pussy-footing around with them and hold them accountable for their criminal activity. Enough is enough.
Mr. Thompson, your country needs you. Right now the blogsite is not taking an official stand in supporting a candidate, but my support, especially as a fellow Tennessean, is for Fred Thompson for President of the United States.
