Obama in Jeans...This is NEWS?!?!

First, the clip:



Okay.

What in the blue bloody hell was that?

Have they never seen a man in a pair of jeans before?

They were fawning like a bunch of drunken college girls at a male strip joint, for crying out loud. "Sit down!" "You're KILLING us!" "I can't SEE!"

And the whole time, the cameras are flashing, the girls are giggling, and Obama is strutting and prissing like the barn yard rooster walking around the hen house. Or at least parading back and forth in front of the hens as the coo and cackle.

And where was Michelle Obama? Home, taking care of the kids? Wonder what she thinks about this little clip?

No wonder Malkin said she threw up a little in the back of her mouth. Personally, I felt my own guts churning and cramping.

Here's the deal. What sort of image does it send to the rest of the world, this video? What sort of message is being given? Barack Obama is supposedly running for the office of the President of the United States of America. That office is the most important, the most influential, the most powerful office in our government. The President acts as the leader of the people of the United States, as the Commander in Chief of the United States Armed Forces, as representative OF the people and government of the United States to other nations around the world. There is a certain amount of respectability that comes with the office, a certain seriousness, a certain reverence of position (not to be confused with religious reverence, but a state of respectability no doubt). That doesn't make the President some sort of cold, inhuman, unfeeling individual who can't let loose with the press corps from time to time. Quite the contrary. The President and the press corps should have a relationship that is relaxed enough for them to be able to talk back and forth and interact, even with the normal bantering that comes with a familiarity.

BUT THIS?

Prissing and strutting and preening and flaunting his denim clad backside for the girls in the press traveling with him shows us what we can expect from a President Obama in regards to his character. His lack of experience in the political realm as an elected official leaves him acting more like an over-age frat boy showing off on a testosterone rush to a gaggle of sorority sisters urging him on like the center of the stage attraction for a co-ed function where all the frat brothers have passed out drunk on the sidelines and the girls are left with the last man standing who probably hasn't had as much to drink as his compadres but just enough to loosen him up for performing like the proverbial dancing chicken at the circus side show. From the get-go, the entire Obama campaign has had a certain side-show atmosphere that I wasn't really able to put my finger on until watching that clip, and that's when it hit me, he's not a serious contender, he's a side show freak who's managed to charm his way into a position in which the Chicago political machine took advantage of the messy divorce of their previous senator in order to move Obama up the ranks and shuffle him into the deck for the national scene, counting on his race to make him the Democratic "Teflon Candidate," and proclaiming any criticism of Obama or his now infamous pastor Jeremiah Wright as being racist, leaving everyone but the Clinton machine and conservative talk radio trying to quietly figure out exactly what to do to counter the Obama factor and the Democratic National Party at the mercy of threats of a repeat of the 1968 riots and protests when the convention convenes in Denver, at which time the "Messiah" will likely be given the party blessing and be anointed as the candidate for the general elections, at which point I'm sure, after watching this little clip, that we can expect Obama to break into some sort of combination Prince/Michael Jackson dance move on the stage while the women faint and scream.

God help us if Nancy Pelosi tosses her panties onto the dias.

I think I just threw up a little in the back of my OWN throat.

Fred Doesn't Have a Hunting License, and Neither do I

I stopped watching CNN after they showed one of our soldiers being taken out by an enemy sniper. Through the years, they have done little more than piss me off anyway, so it was no big loss for my news hunting to do without the Caliphate News Network.

Now they're trying to call into question Fred Thompson's NRA and gun support because he doesn't have a current hunting license. Well big deal, I don't either, and haven't for several years. It's not that I don't like hunting, don't advocate it, and don't wish that I had the TIME for it, I simply DON'T have the time with my work schedule or I would be out there as much as I could doing the hunting and fishing I love to do and look forward to doing one of these days when I retire.

Thompson does not have hunting license

COLUMBIA, South Carolina (CNN) — Fred Thompson has made a point of visiting gun shops and gun shows while hitting the campaign trail in New Hampshire and South Carolina, usually with camera crews in tow.

But Thompson said Wednesday he does not have a hunting license, nor has be been hunting recently.

"It's been too long, it's been too long," Thompson told CNN Wednesday.

Asked if he has a hunting license, Thompson said he currently does not.

"At the present time I do not, but I have been hunting plenty of times. I usually hunt birds and used to have my own skeet shoot, and I got a chance to shoot and practice a lot back then."

Thompson, an ardent defender of Second Amendment rights, was appearing in Columbia to pick up the endorsement of South Carolina Citizens for Life.

Thompson said Wednesday he wished he had more time to go hunting.

"It seems like other things seem to be getting in its way," he said.

I can certainly relate to that sentiment, all too well.

It's like this. The Second Amendment is about the right to bear arms, NOT the right to hunt. It's a stretch on the part of CNN to try to make this into something that it isn't, and, as usual, highly irresponsible of them to make this attempt.

One more instance of CNN trying to twist things. Seems to me they're afraid of Fred Thompson...

CNN does it again

I'm done with calling CNN the Communist News Network, as many of you already know. I've begun to refer to them instead as the Caliphate News Network. Time after time they slant their stories so as not to show Jihadists in a bad light. Time after time they show us how they are so ready and willing to embrace Islam.

I wonder how many of their cutesy little anchorettes would be allowed to continue broadcasting in their mini skirts and plunging necklines under Sharia law? Not that I mind mini skirts and plunging necklines, mind you, but um, err, you get my point, I think.

Five years ago two Muslim extremists went on a killing spree in the DC area. CNN today is ignoring the fact that these two knuckleheads are Muslims. In doing so, they disregard motive of behavior, and they disregard and disrespect the victims of these two animals.

It's been five years since John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo terrorized Washington D.C. for three weeks by randomly shooting people, killing 10 and wounding three. The news at the time avoided all mention of anything Islamic including calling Muhammad by his old name before Islamic conversion, John Allen Williams.

Investor's Business Daily reveals how CNN's one hour special, "The Minds of the D.C. Snipers," still makes no mention of the Islam connection despite the following evidence:

"The jailhouse drawings of the younger sniper, Malvo, tell it all:

• One sketch of Osama bin Laden exalts him as a "Servant of Allah."

• A self-portrait of him and Muhammad is captioned: "We will kill them all. Jihad . . . Allah Akbar!"

• A sketch of the burning Twin Towers has as its caption: "America did this. You were warned."

• The White House is drawn in cross hairs, surrounded by missiles, with the warning: "Sep. 11 we will ensure will look like a picnic to you," and "you will bleed to death little by little."

• Another warning reads: "Islam. We will Resist. We will conquer. We will win."

Somehow CNN's "special investigations unit" managed to overlook this pile of courtroom evidence. It showed only one drawing — a self portrait of Malvo shedding tears.

CNN also omitted the fact that while Muhammad and Malvo were in county jail awaiting trial, their lawyers insisted they be fed Islamic "halal" meals, such as veggie burgers, instead of ham sandwiches. They also got copies of the Quran."

And CNN doesn't see this as relevant to the story.

Pissed off is an understatement...

CNN, the Communist News Network, has done it yet again. They have slapped the United States military in the face.

What in the HELL does CNN think they are doing putting their "sniper video" up for video on demand? Do they have that little respect for our troops and their families? I don't know which commie kissing asshole over there is responsible for this, but by GOD I'd love to see an airplane wheel fall on them right about now.

[UPDATE] - I have been thinking lately that with all the conservative blogs that link to CNN and AP stories, even to point out their distortions, they are recieving quite a number of hits/traffic JUST from us. Considering how many different venues of media there are, it would definitely hit them and their sponsors if NO ONE linked to them or their stories at all, but used alternate sources for our posts. Remember, they COUNT on traffic to click on their sponsor links for additional monies to the companies.
